What is the criterion to determine that motor is in cold stage or hot stage for the LUCM control unit to refer the tripping curve.
These specifications are defined by the tripping condition. The tripping condition on cold and hot state are define by the standard IEC 60947-4-2
The points which are defined are:
On cold state at 7.2 times In the product should trip in less than 10 seconds for class 10 products.
On hot state that means after 1 hour running at nominal current for a current of 1.5 times nominal current the product should trip in less
than 4 minute for class 10 products.
Last point defines by standard if current is equal to 1.2 time nominal current product shall trip in less than 2 hours.
